Looking for some enthusiastic youths who would like to learn how to handle and groom miniature horses. Each youth is assigned his/her own miniature and taught how to groom, feed, clean stalls, care for, and even train, show, and promote. With enough students signed up we are looking to start a new 4-H club called "mini me" Serious inquiries only please (this means if you are under 18 you must FIRST talk to your parents and get approval before contacting us) Parents must be willing to drive and put time in. Perfect way for parents to not have to purchase or pay for board, feed, vet, farrier, and all other horse related costs for that horse crazy child.
After a devastating divorce I was forced to give up my horses (one whom I've owned for 15 years.) I have found a perfect forever home for my mare Star, and that has allowed me the breathing room to put my gelding back into boarding closer to me, so that I can get him back into shape and put him up for sale. He will now be back in training starting over fences and trail riding.
If you where responding to the "free horses looking for good homes" ad; I'm sorry you are too late, one has already found a home and the other is back into training. Thank you so much for looking, and please look over all the horses I have for sale.
The Canadian National Champion Pinto Gelding will once again be up for sale for $3000 at the end of July. This was clearly advertised as the plan all along and I have left the old advertisement that stated that below;
Hurry before it's too late
If horse has not found a permanent or lease home by summer of 2009 he will be brought back into conditioning training and put up for sale. Once in training price will increase per month to pay for costs or reconditioning and board.
We recently had someone phone and ask for a "pony party". This is not something we do on a regular basis, but for neighbors we will. However we do not own Ponies; we own Miniature horses registered with AMHA; which means that all of our minis are under 34 inches and therefore can only handle under 7 years old or under 70 pounds. We charge 15% less than whatever the current rate of official pony party companys do. Currently there are three that I know of that service this area and these are their prices for off site (at your home) packages of one pony (please note that most of them have multiple packages to chose from) IF you find any others that will service Belfair please e-mail me and I will add them to the list:
Sweet Medicine Party Ponies; Gig Harbor
$275 for 2 hours (minimum) breaks down to $137.50 per hour
Party Ponies Inc; Fall City
$159 for 1 hour
Lil Pony Express; Seatac/Tukwila
$175 for 1 hour
That would make our cost currently $117 for one pony for one hour or $234 for two hours. Local only
